Dropping two weeks before Valentine’s Day, The Way Back is a love song about two people separated against their will & the lengths they’ll go through to reunite. The lyrics evoke a psychedelic nursery rhyme, “You said you’d hang glide into the canyon, ride a ski lift over the sea, fight the alligators in Lake Conroe, to hold me tight, and whisper Sweet Pea.”

While The Way Back is a romantic love song, it's also about loving myself & learning to fully enjoy my own company. It's about aiming for emotional independence while still hoping to reconnect one day with that very special & longed for lover.
